F Watson & Sons have recently extended their yard to accommodate their new Lefort Konkeror 700 static shear baler. Their previous Konkeror 600 has given excellent service over the past 7 years, but the new Konkeror 700 offers much more. The new design for the powerpack, means access is much improved.
The lid force on each lid has increased from 240T to 325T, making it much easier to fold and compress the scrap before shearing. The machine has shown immediately how much easier it copes with folding and preparing the material before shearing it. The tonnages and through put have increased markedly with this new Konkeror 700.
