William Waugh (Edinburgh) Ltd, take delivery of another Lefort Trax Machine, for their processing facility in Granton, Edinburgh. Impressed by the flexibility of the Trax design, Alan Waugh was keen to upgrade to the 700T version as soon as it was launched. Replacing their very dependable Trax 600, so it was all change in the William Waugh yard early September with the new machine unloaded and the old one on its way to its new owner within a few hours.
The new Trax 700, Lefort’s latest model, has many new features including a longer box, large side cylinders and a new layout for the powerpack. At nearly 80T in weight this is the largest one piece Trax machine in the range, capable of processing up to 20T per hour, and baling over 30 bales per hour.
